Dr Zappo review for 2026: new features, RTP, bonuses, max win and what South African readers should verify before playing.
Updated 13 October 2026. Dr Zappo turns a cartoon science experiment into a payline slot where EyeBall symbols fire across the grid, converting symbols into Wilds and bouncing off Energy Fields. Its unusual Wild mechanic matters more than the familiar 10,000x headline.

Figures and mechanics are based on publicly available developer information or explicitly identified launch reporting; they are not a guarantee of game availability or a particular operator’s configuration.
An EyeBall can shoot straight upwards or diagonally to the left or right. Symbols along its path turn into Wilds, which can then participate in paying combinations. This makes the route of the shot central to the result, even though the player cannot select the direction or influence where EyeBalls land.
When an EyeBall strikes an Energy Field, it bounces and continues converting symbols. If it strikes an existing Wild or EyeBall, the affected Wild can gain a multiplier. The developer describes these interactions as additive: multipliers affecting the same win are combined according to the paytable rather than automatically multiplied together.
Three FS symbols trigger the Eyeconic round with 10 free spins and an increased chance of EyeBalls. Four trigger No-Brainer, also with 10 spins, where EyeBalls shoot in two directions. Five trigger the hidden It’s Electrifying round, which guarantees at least one EyeBall on each of its 10 initial spins.
Hacksaw publishes four RTP configurations: 96.31%, 94.36%, 92.31% and 86.22%. These are not interchangeable. A review quoting 96.31% is describing the highest listed configuration, not necessarily the one available to any specific player.
The studio rates it 3/5 on its own volatility scale. That rating offers a broad indication of its mathematical design but cannot predict a session’s win frequency or size. The maximum advertised payout is 10,000x, which remains a ceiling rather than an expected outcome.
